Message from our President / CEO
Dear Valued Member:
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is impacting our communities in so many ways: preventing gathering with family and friends, temporary business and school closures, difficulty purchasing essential items, and cancellation of travel plans – just to name a few.
As a Transcend Credit Union member, it is important that you understand that all deposit and loan services continue to be available despite the temporary closure of our branch lobbies. At this time, our drive-thru facilities and phone center are fully-staffed and ready to serve you. Additionally, electronic transaction capabilities such as home banking, mobile banking, mobile deposit, ATMs, and debit/credit card programs remain available to you. Be assured, despite the temporary change in operating methods, you can still open deposit accounts, get a consumer loan, or refinance your home. You may call us (phone numbers listed below) or visit our website www.transcendcu.com for further information.
It is critically important that you know that the Credit Union remains in outstanding financial condition. As one of the strongest credit unions in the United States, we are exceptionally well-capitalized and our loan portfolio is of the highest quality. Your deposits are insured up to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). You can be confident that your money is safe. We remain “open for business” and ready to meet all of your financial needs.
We recognize that measures taken by the federal and state government to combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19) have impacted many families. In the event you need assistance regarding your Transcend loans or other accounts, please know that we are ready to help you. Special programs such as free Skip-a-Payment, Loan Extension, and Emergency Loans are available. One key thing to remember: contact us promptly once a financial difficulty arises. Addressing an account concern early offers more solution options and improves your peace-of-mind.
Transcend Credit Union values our relationship with you. We are committed to serving you and helping during these challenging times. Please feel free to contact us at (502) 459-3000 or (800) 292-9490 if we can assist you.
